Speaking of color aluminum, most people would think of attractive roofs of various shapes, dark black window profiles, gray sliding doors and colorful sign boards. However, few people pays attention to show shelves in super markets. Although most of us shops a lot, we are usually attracted by kinds of goods rather than shelves supporting the goods. In the past small stores used wood shelves to display items for daily usage. With the development of large super markets, strong large metal shelves came into being. The first choice would be steel because it’s of the highest strength and corrosion resistance. However, color aluminum is replacing steel as raw materials for show shelves like in many other industries.
Color aluminum has won popularity for several reasons. First, it shows satisfying strength as show shelves. Although the strength of aluminum can by no means compete with that of steel, but aluminum alloy, after reasonable procession, can reach high strength which even meets standards for components of vehicles, ships and planes. Therefore, aluminum shelves are strong enough for displaying goods in super markets. Second, it has strong corrosion resistance. Color aluminum has to be anodized before being coated with colors. Both the anodization process and painted layers help to strengthen its anti-rust ability. Aluminum shelves can be cleaned with water or wet cloth directly. Third, it can be coated with different colors in response to displaying effect of various goods. Fourth, color aluminum shelves are much cheaper than steel ones, because aluminum costs much lower than steel. Fifth, aluminum shelves are lighter and therefore easier to be moved than steel ones.
