As production technicians at Haomei Aluminum in China, drawing on years of practical experience in the production and export of aluminum circles for cookware, 1050 aluminum circles are a preferred base material for cookware manufacturing, with specifications perfectly aligned with global cookware production needs, balancing standardization and customization.
Based on our factory's practical experience exporting to Europe, America, the Middle East, and Southeast Asia, our standard production specifications of aluminum circle 1050 for making cookingware are thickness 0.3-8mm and diameter 20-1360mm. Custom sizes can be made according to customer's cookware type (frying pans, saucepans, pressure cookers, etc.). Thickness tolerance is strictly controlled within ±0.02mm, flatness ≤0.1mm/m, and edges are free of burrs and chipping to avoid wrinkling and cracking during subsequent stamping. We use the DC hot rolling process in production, which, compared to the CC process, is more suitable for deep drawing and spinning requirements of cookware. We also strictly adhere to international standards such as ASTM B209 and EN 851:2022 to ensure that each batch of products has consistent specifications, stable performance, and meets the import compliance requirements of different regions.

From a material perspective, 1050 is high-purity industrial aluminum with an aluminum content ≥99.5%. Its chemical composition is precisely controlled: Si≤0.25%, Fe≤0.40%, Cu≤0.05%, and the total proportion of other trace elements ≤0.05%. It contains no harmful impurities and fully complies with food-grade contact standards (EU EC 1935/2004, US FDA standards), making it suitable for direct use in cookware inner pots and pot bottoms. In terms of mechanical properties, after cold rolling and annealing, its tensile strength reaches 84MPa, yield strength 42MPa, and elongation 28%. It possesses excellent plasticity and formability, capable of withstanding complex processing techniques such as deep drawing, flanging, and spinning. The single stretching height can reach more than three times the sheet thickness without edge cracking, adapting to the complex shapes required for various cookware designs. Simultaneously, its thermal conductivity reaches 230W/(m·K), ensuring uniform and rapid heat transfer, effectively shortening cooking time and reducing energy consumption, perfectly meeting the core usage requirements of cookware.
Based on practical experience in production and export, the advantages of 1050 aluminum circles are particularly prominent, which is also the core reason for the continued stability of our factory's export orders.
Firstly, they offer strong processing adaptability. Our factory uses a German SMS six-roll mill for production, and the surface undergoes precision grinding, resulting in no oil stains or scratches. No further grinding is required before stamping and painting, significantly reducing customer production costs and time.
Secondly, they offer high cost-effectiveness. Compared to alloy aluminum circles such as 3003, 1050 pure aluminum substrate has lower production costs and an 80% recyclability rate, balancing economic efficiency and environmental friendliness, meeting the global cookware industry's needs for cost reduction and green production.
Thirdly, they offer excellent export adaptability. We optimize packaging solutions (sea freight-specific wooden pallets, 1 ton/pallet) to meet the needs of customers in different regions, controlling delivery time within 25 days. We also provide complete material certificates and test reports to ensure smooth customs clearance, which has earned long-term recognition from customers in the Middle East, Europe, and the Americas over the years.
As a manufacturer specializing in the production and export of aluminum circles, we always prioritize practical needs. In the production of 1050 aluminum circles, we rigorously control every process, including melting (650-700℃), rolling, and annealing, to eliminate surface defects and performance deviations. With its stable specifications, excellent properties, and high practical value, this product has become the preferred base material for various cookware manufacturers. It meets the mass production needs of household cookware as well as the precision machining standards of high-end cookware. Haomei Aluminum will continue to leverage its mature production technology and export experience to provide customized, high-quality aluminum circle 1050 for making cookingware to global customers, helping them enhance their product competitiveness.
