1. Alloy. If listed all of them, alloys of aluminum sheets take up hundreds of words. Fortunately they can be classified by series: from 1 to eight. The most frequently used are the former seven: 1xxx, 2xxx, 3xxx, 4xxx, 5xxx, 6xxx and 7xxx. Each has its own properties and price scope.
2. Thickness. Thickness do influence prices of aluminum sheets 4x8 because the production of sheets with different thicknesses entail varied process and energy cost.
3. Surface treatment method. This includes stretching, powder coating, paint coating, pvdf coating, embossing, brushing and so on.
Colored aluminum sheets 4x8, for example, are more expensive than regular mill finish sheets, since their production entail an extra process of color painting and extra paint materials. If we dig deeper, even coated sheets can be classified based on price. PE paints proves to be cheaper than PVDF. As a result, PVDF coated sheets cost more than PE sheets. The case is similar with
diamond plate aluminum sheets 4x8, featured by the surface treatment method known as embossing.
4. Process methods (such as arc, shape, roller, etc.). This is rare but some clients do need special process sometimes.
5. Price of aluminum ingot on the day. There's no need for more explanation since it's known to all those importing from China.
6. Object of supply. Simply speaking, it means whether you are contacting a manufacturer or a trading company. Needless to say, manufacturers are more likely to give a lower offer.
7. Processing and procurement costs of your supplier. You may believe those costs are more or less the same, but it's not the case at all. Quality of raw materials influence procurement costs, and advanced level of manufacturing equipment indicates initial investment in it. Even though you have got both ready, you need technicians and workers to run the workshop, and those people are classified by their skills which must match their salaries. Any slight variation in any of these factors result in variation in quality of aluminum sheets you need. All these fall eventually on manufacturing cost, and you will have to pay for that.
8. Brand. We all tend to buy aluminum sheets of brands we are familiar with because a brand is a guarantee in a way.
9.Shipment cost.
10. Tax. This is closely related to political and economical policies of your country and the export country, which you are subject to reluctantly or willingly.
