An a3003 h16 aluminum coil is made of 3003 aluminium alloy containing aluminum and manganese. 3003 aluminum coil is also known as an anti-rust aluminum alloy, for the adding of manganese greatly improves its resistance to corrosive materials. H16 indicates the temper. The number “1” refers to the cold hardening state with a hardness obtained without heat treatment, and “6” implies the hardness of the coil. There are H12, H14, H16 and H18, and each of the second number represents a degree level of hardness. 8 is the strongest and 2 the softest, thus 6 stands for four thirds of the full hardness (8). Thus we can see that aluminum coil 3003 h16 is quite hard indeed. However, 3xxx is only of medium hardness of all aluminium alloys. Stronger ones include 5xxx, 6xxx, 7xxx and 2xxx.

The a3003 h16 aluminum coil has many uses, and one of the most representative falls on interior decoration. The first is furniture facial panels. Kitchen cupboards of bright colors can be made of 3003 aluminum coil. A coil roll was cut into pieces of given sizes matching those of a cupboard door, stand surface, interior flooring and wall cladding. Generally interior pieces are of natural silver color of the aluminium coil, but those for doors might be coated with paints before being applied, because colors are among key factors helping create ideal decorative styles. The second example of the interior use of aluminum coil 3003 h16 is ceiling and lighting. Ceiling panels and lamp parts made of 3003 aluminum coil show a good corrosion resistance and long service life. Light weight proves to be an overwhelming advantage of aluminium ceiling over other metals. The coil can also be polished to obtain a mirror like surface, enabling interior designers to create a sense of large spaces without adopting fragile glass pieces.
