Alloy aluminum sheet is to add various alloying elements (the main alloying elements are copper, silicon, magnesium, zinc, manganese, and the secondary alloying elements are nickel, iron, titanium, chromium, lithium, etc.) in the aluminum sheet processing to improve the mechanics performance and chemical indicators of the aluminum sheet. Alloy aluminum sheet has some special properties that pure aluminum sheet does not have, and is widely used in special environments, such as ships, refrigerators, molds, aerospace equipment and so on.
The classification of grades of aluminium sheet are:
1, 1000 series aluminium is 99.0% or higher purity aluminum. Commonly used are 1050, 1060, 1070, 1100, and alloy aluminum sheet can be divided into 2000 series as aluminum-copper alloy aluminum plates (Al--Cu) according to the main alloying elements, and 3000 series are aluminum-manganese alloy aluminum plates (Al --Mn), 4000 series are aluminum-silicon alloy aluminum plates (Al--Si), 5000 series are aluminum-magnesium alloy aluminum plates (Al--Mg), 6000 series are aluminum-magnesium-silicon alloy aluminum plates (AL--Mg--Si), 7000 series is aluminum-zinc alloy aluminum plate [AL--Zn--Mg--(Cu)].
2, Alloy aluminum sheet can be divided into binary alloy aluminum sheet, ternary alloy aluminum sheet, quaternary alloy aluminum sheet and multi-element alloy aluminum sheet according to element units.
3, According to whether the alloy aluminum sheet can be strengthened by heat treatment, it can be divided into heat treatment strengthened alloy aluminum sheet and non-heat treatment strengthened alloy aluminum sheet. Non-strengthened aluminum alloy sheet can be strengthened only by cold working, but heat treatment cannot be significantly strengthened.
Among the grades of aluminium sheet, three 3000 series aluminum sheet represent 3003, 3004 and 3105. It can also be called anti-rust aluminum sheet. 3000 series aluminum sheet production technology is relatively excellent. The 3000 series aluminum sheet is made of manganese as the main component. The content is between 1.0-1.5, it is a series with better anti-rust function, it is usually used in humid environments such as air conditioners, refrigerators and undercars. The price is higher than that of the 1000 series. 5000 series aluminum sheet represents the 5052, 5005, 5083, 5754 series. The 5000 series aluminum sheet main element is magnesium, and the magnesium content is between 3-5%. It can also be called aluminum-magnesium alloy. The main features are low density, high tensile strength and high elongation. In the same area, the weight of aluminum-magnesium alloy is lower than other series. Therefore, it is commonly used in aviation, such as aircraft fuel tanks. It is also widely used in conventional industries. The processing technology is continuous casting and rolling, which belongs to the hot-rolled aluminum plate series, so it can be used for deep oxidation processing.
